Silverado 2004 Chardonnay
United States, California, Napa Valley

i think i'm becoming a fan of chard's - so long as the finish isnt too buttery
Robert Mondavi 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
United States, California, Napa Valley
B+
i think the ravenswood we had before this one biased my opinion for the best.
Ravenswood 2003 Zinfandel

nothing really stood out about this wine.
Prince Michel 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon

Azienda Agricola Lorenzon 2002 Cabernet Franc
Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Isozo

Vier Jahreszeiten 2004 Gewurztraminer
Germany, Baden, Pfalz
B+
   A very drinkable wine.
Ravenswood 2003 Zinfandel
United States, California, Sonoma Valley
B
caught me off guard, not used to drinking zins. but once i adjusted, i appreciated the strong and unique flavor.
Jefferson Vineyards 2004 Cabernet Franc

A-

United States, California, Napa Valley
B+
a soft cab sav, muy bueno.
Chateau Morrisette 2001 Cabernet Franc
United States, Virginia, Shenandoah Valley
B-
fairly plain, nothing that jumped out at me.
Hidden Brook Winery 2003 Merlot
United States, Virginia, Northern Neck
B
im a fan of this merlot - a lot more taste than typical merlots. just gotta ignore the nose.
Arroyo Vista Vineyard 2003 Chardonnay
United States, California, Central Coast/Monterey
B+
my favorite chardonnay ever (so far)!
Hofkellerei des Fuersten von Liechtenstein 2002 Pinot Noir
Liechtenstein
C
as expected from the look, it tasted like a watered-down pinot. i need it to be sweeter to make up for the lack of flavor.
Catena Zapata 2003 Malbec
Argentina, Mendoza Province
B+
a weak nose made me kinda hesitant, but the taste made up for it. some qualities of a cab sav, but much smoother tannins.
Hidden Brook Winery 2004 Chambourcin
United States, Virginia, Northern Neck
B
A softer red wine, I'm becoming a fan of Chambourcins.
Crisol 2003 Merlot
Argentina, Mendoza Province
C+
I had a stuffy nose when I drank this wine, so my drinking experience notes may be biased.
Healdsburg 2003 Syrah/Shiraz
United States, California, Sonoma Valley
B-
At first I wasn't impressed, but then I let it chill a bit more than normal, then let it breathe in my glass, and it improved vastly.
Francis Coppola 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
United States, California
B-
less spicy and tanniny than a typical cab
Florida Orange Groves NV Cherry
United States, Florida, St. Petersburg
C
this "winery" makes its wines from all kinds of Florida fruits. the cherry one was my favorite.
Simi 2003 Merlot
United States, California, Sonoma Valley
B+
impressive merlot. more flavor and tannins than i expected, i think thanks to the oak barreling.
St. Francis 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon
United States, California, Sonoma Valley
C+
liked the smell, especially right when i opened the bottle. tasted like any other cab, nothing distinctive.
Chasseur 2003 Pinot Noir
United States, California, Sonoma Valley
A+
The aroma won me over - and the taste didn't disappoint. Quality you could taste.
Robert Mondavi 2004 Riesling
United States, California, Central Coast/Monterey
D
I prefer Jeffersons, which I think is sweeter. Just wasn't a fan.
Francis Coppola 2003 Syrah/Shiraz
United States, California
B
not bad, but need to try more syrahs to have a basis for judgment
Beaulieu Vineyard 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
United States, California, Napa Valley
C
not very spicy (most cabs i tend to drink are), a solid aftertaste, a drinkable wine, but not something i'd rush out to buy again.
Beaulieu Vineyard 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
United States, California, Napa Valley
C-
heavy but good, smells kinda generic, tanins!
