   We usually pair a dry rosé with salade niçoise, owing to the salad's many flavors. I didn't have anything on hand and it was getting late, so I grabbed this--not bad, but not typical of a pinot noir, either.

   This is our "guzzling" wine, drinkable any time. Earlier years of this have been pleasant, but I find this one to be too "shirazy" and not "grenachey" enough. Guess I'll look for older stuff on the shelves.
