Cantine San Marzano www.cantinesanmarzan o.it 2005 Primitivo

Italy, Puglia, Manduria
A
Primitivo is the ancestor for Zinfindel. this is an old vine varietal grape. Smooth, refined, buttery texture. Very Similar to California Zinfindel, but is grown in a predominately limestone soil. Vin di Vino, Chicago is the importer for Feudi San Marzano (export company name). There are many good Primitivos from the DOC area, but this is the BEST one I found there.
