This
page allows you to see all the wines you have logged
·
What
do the “Sort and Filter This Log” functions do?
o
The
“Sort and Filter This Log” section in the column on the right allows you to
organize the wines listed to the left based on certain criteria you pick.
o
Sort
keeps all of the wines listed, but organizes them based on the criteria you
pick
o
Filter
only keeps the wines that meet the criteria you pick

How
do I Sort my bottle log?
o
Click
the “+” sign to the right of “Sort and Filter This Log” to expand the box
o
Click
the “+” sign to the right of the “Sort” text to expand the Sort option
o
In
the first field, chose an item that you want to Sort the wines by
o
In
the second field, chose how you want to order the Sorted wines
o
To
add additional Sort items, click the “+” sign to the right of the second field,
and another Sort option will expand
o
When
you have finished setting your Sort criteria, click the “Submit” link located
at the bottom of the box (below the Filter option)

How
do I Filter my bottle log?
o
Click
the “+” sign to the right of “Sort and Filter This Log” to expand the box
o
Click
the “+” sign to the right of the “Filter” text to expand the Filter option
o
In
the first field, chose an item that you want to Filter the wines by
o
In
the second field, chose whether you want the Filtered wines to either include
or exclude, or be less than or greater than, the item you chose in the first
field
o
In
the third field, select or enter the criteria that you want the Filter to apply
to
o
To
add additional Filter items, click the “+” sign to the right of the third
field, and another Filter option will expand
o
When
you have finished setting your Filter criteria, click the “Submit” link located
at the bottom of the box

How do I see all the information for a wine in My Bottle Log?
o
You will notice only a few, key items show up
for each wine listed on your My Bottle Log page
o
To view all of the available information,
click the
to the right of the bottle you are interested in
o
All of the fields that have been filled out
for the bottle you have selected will appear in the column on the right side of
the page
o
At the bottom of this list of information are
two options:

Add this bottle to a list
·
This option allows you to add the wine to a
personalized list
·
You do not need to have already created a list
in order to utilize this option
·
Click on the link and you can add the bottle
to a new list that you create on the spot, or add it to one of your already
existing lists which will be listed
·
These lists are then stored on your My Home
Page, where you can view and edit them

Email this bottle info
·
This option allows you to email the
information in the bottle log to yourself, a friend, or anyone
·
Click the link to see all the information
available for the wine, and how it will look in the email
·
At the bottom of the page, fill out the “Email
address to send to:” and “Your Name:” boxes
·
Click “Submit” to send the email
·
Why
is there sometimes a red message above the expanded wine information telling me I can buy
wine?
o
Thanks

certain wines logged on logabottle.com

To
check if a wine can be bought on logabottle.com, click the
next
to the bottle of your choice listed on your Bottle Log, My Home Page, or All
Logs

It
can be a bottle that any user logged, not just your own
o
In
the expanded wine information on the right, check at the top to see if there is
a message in red indicating that the wine can be bought through a participating
retailer
o
If
the link exists, click on it to be redirected to that retailer’s website and
the bottle that you selected will be available for you to buy
o
Currently only the more popular, U.S. wines can be purchased on
logabottle.com. But as we continue to grow, more and more wines will become
available for purchase from our site

What does it mean to “Add this bottle to a
list” and how do I do it?
o
This option allows you to add the wine to a
personalized list (e.g. Wines I Want to Buy)
o
You can add multiple bottles to one list, and
create as many different lists as you like
o
These lists are then stored on your My Home
Page, where you can view and edit them by clicking the “Manage my lists” link
o
You do not need to have already created a list
in order to utilize this option

What does it mean to “Email this bottle info”
and how do I do it?
o
This option allows you to email all the
information in the bottle log to someone
o
Click the link to see all the information
available for the wine, and how it will look in the email

At the bottom of the page, fill out the “Email

Click “Submit” to send the email

How does the Google Map work?
o
The Google Map at the bottom of your My Bottle
Log identifies the location from which each wine you logged came from
o
These pinpoints are automatically created when
you select one of the Regions and/or Sub Regions available in the drop down box
when you log your wine
o
You can click on the pinpoint to bring up the
Vineyard, Year, Grape, Region and Country of the wine in a bubble on the map.
o
You can also zoom and move around the map
using the buttons on the left of the map

How do I see the wines that are not on the
front page?
o
At
the bottom of the list of wines, but before the map, are the “Go to page” links
that will take you to other pages of your My Bottle Log
o
You
can select the page number you want to go to, or just click “Next” to go to the
next page
